Did you know heart muscle cells can have multiple nuclei? (See pic on my profile for example!) Within each nucleus, there can be multiple sets of chromosomes (polyploidy). 🧬🧬🧬🧬 This paper in @JMCCardiology describes a new method for assessing polyploidy in cardiomyocytes.
