I pay Google $13.99 CAD to train a 9B LLM model on A100 80GB GPU. It takes: > 10 minutes to step notebook > 7 hours to train the model > 1.5 hour for eval testing > 1.25 hours for validation testing > 30 minutes for GGUF/MLX conversion Overnight, I run codex (with computer use chrome extension) on new notebook. In the morning I get a new custom trained model. It's not hard to train SLMs anymore. Wake up.

instead of watching 2 hours of Netflix tonight, watch this 40-minute masterclass from the founder of a $20B China AI company it's the clearest explanation I've seen of how Agent Swarms and AI systems actually work at scale useful whether you've never built an agent in your life or have been using Claude every day for the past year I took the key ideas and turned them into a practical guide on how to actually build with Kimi find it below

My first company I worked for in India was a services company where they used to do form filling for diffrent insurance companies. Yeah they’re gooooooneee now mostly this is peak. That company has over 5000 people doing form filling in India It’s going to boils down to cost per form but this is getting ugly real soon.

customers are increasingly asking us for certainty on capacity. as models get better, we expect that the world will be capacity-constrained for some time. we are offering discounted tokens for 1-3 year commits. (it also helps us plan, so hopefully a big win-win.)
OpenAI@OpenAI

Introducing OpenAI Guaranteed Capacity: a new offering that enables customers to guarantee long-term access to OpenAI compute. We’ve made long-term investments in infrastructure, partnerships, and capacity planning to help customers scale reliably. Now, Guaranteed Capacity helps customers plan ahead for critical workloads in a compute-constrained world. openai.com/guaranteed-cap…

open sourcing Marlin-2B 🐟 a tiny VLM to extract structured information from videos Marlin is finetuned for two questions devs want to ask in their videos: what is happening, and when? Best open model in its weight class, competitive with Gemini-2.5-flash at only 2B params 🧵

Very true, I have a singular canonical file that the agent updates with timestamps so there’s a single source of truth and the agents have to name and id themselves. Name has to contain agent creation timestamp and conversation id. This has given the ability to record deviation in any task/convo. Some docs that get update canonically like this are my changelog, task ledger and a Claude.md or codex.md read me and api.md files I usually have it spin up a separate agent. I’m also working on a ui to track these singular files and have this sort of project node based manager. github.com/pratikreddy9/s…
