R.I.P. to my $XOM long today. Could have held it one more day but that the 3rd close below the 50sma was enough to call it quits. One of the better jobs done on trimming a name into the 7x+ ATR 50sma extensions. Shout out @jfsrev for kindly sharing that knowledge

Today is always a nostalgic day for me.
Six years ago, I walked out of a Nebraska prison with no clear idea where life would take me next. I knew driving with marijuana in my vehicle was illegal, and I made that decision anyway. It cost me—my freedom, and it caused real pain for my friends, my family, and especially my mother. Twenty-eight years of life led up to one bad decision that resulted in 18 months behind bars.
I’ve always believed God has a plan, and when I came home, I found myself stepping into a stock market that had just experienced the COVID crash. I had no experience, no real knowledge—just a willingness to learn. Nothing about the market felt scary. Every day felt like an opportunity. A chance to grow. A chance to change my life.
I never imagined success would come as quickly as it did.
I recently made a post about the mentors who helped me along the way, and I’ll always be grateful for the knowledge they shared. Through this journey, I’ve also met and built friendships with some incredible people. It’s honestly hard to put into words how grateful I am for everything this path has given me.
There are still days where I feel like I’ve been given more than I deserve. I can’t imagine my life without the market—the opportunities, the lessons, and the people it’s brought into my world.
I wish nothing but success for everyone reading this. No matter how hard life feels, you’re only a handful of good decisions away from changing it. Never quit. Never stop believing in yourself.
And I’m looking forward to the next six years—working alongside you, whether as a colleague or a mentor.

3/31/2026 Daily Recap: That's a start for the bulls! - Day 1 of an attempted rally saw 77% of stocks advancing higher. $QQQ $SPY - $XBI biotech group was leading at the open well before there was peace talks from Iran. - $SMH almost a 6% up day which is what this market will need more of if the Nasdaq is going to reclaim the 200sma. - $ARKK still plenty of work to do to put itself back into an uptrend but a 6.4% up day is also a start and speaks to how powerful todays rally was. $TSLA $COIN $CRCL $HOOD $PLTR a nice start. - $USO $XOP afternoon slip brought down all of the oil and gas stocks. Some were getting long in the tooth so finally a bit of a earned breather. - $TAN another group that seems to find life when you least expect it. $NXT $SEDG - $RKLB does a great job holding the 200sma. A name I will continue to monitor, I think it goes on another run for that SpaceX IPO. $UFO related names as well. - $BTC $ETH have refused to make news lows recently speaking to the subtle relative strength recently. Watching for a market follow through day and maybe $IBIT or $ETHE are buyable. - Day 1 of an attempted rally doesn't mean LOAD THE BOAT. But the market did allow us to sprinkle on some longs. If we gain traction we will build from there! We have much more work to do before we are out of this chop!

Silver will be interesting to watch this week as I think we are close (time wise) to a short term top (price wise I’m unsure). The topping process can and most likely will be very tricky and Fridays big strength makes me think we will see some extreme volatility this week. Im not sure silver just dies off easily. These setups are always good to study in the future

So much to be thankful for. Health, wealth, family friends and many many more
Health- I have taken health and wellness serious since I was a teenager and athlete. Now that I’m 41, I take it even more serious. I workout 6 days a week (sometimes 7), eat a healthy diet of mostly fruits, vegetables and lean meats. I drink virtually zero alcohol and consume zero refined sugar. It’s amazing what eating right and exercise will do for you and your energy level. Once you start eating right it becomes a lifestyle not a chore. I would choose chicken/salmon with vegetables 7 days a week over fast food, pizza ect. Once you take that first step to health and wellness and see the results it will slowly become a lifestyle and not a chore.
Wealth-(Not bragging, just very grateful) incredibly blessed for my job/career. I have been addicted to the markets since I was in college and I’m so grateful in those early years of taking looses I choose to stick with it and not give up. Not only have I enjoyed and lived for trading I love to invest for the long term in both equities and land. Extremely grateful for what I have been able to build. (Again not bragging, just humble and grateful)
Family- I have the best family I could imagine. I was born with fantastic parents that always put us kids first and made sure we had whatever we needed to succeed. I’m now married to the best woman I could imagine and have 2 awesome kids. The best part of my day is when the market closes (3pm in the midwest) and kids get home from school and we play some activity in the yard. Also my son who is 12, trades with me and loves to shares his own ideas. He’s getting pretty good but needs a lesson in risk management 😄
Friends- I have great friend both traders and non traders that I love to connect and stay in touch with. Great friends are definitely important to a well balanced life.
In this life we have so much to be grateful for but unfortunately most of us (including me) take it for granted.
