For the past MONTH I've been head down building Predict Bangers, a prediction market platform designed to convert content into markets. After markets dumped and slowed down heavily after I shipped TrenchesClaw I realized we needed more tradable markets with just as much attention and public interest. Lots of markets exist that no one’s interested in. Content drives conversation and emotionally charged discussions on a daily, there’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to bring that attention onchain through prediction markets. Prediction markets make it possible to financialize every single question a person could ever ask so it was a no brainer in my mind. Instead of arguing just trade and get rewarded for being right. Creators get to create custom markets for their best performing content, pair them with their posts and benefit from the trading volume. These could be writers, bloggers, new platforms and even skit makers. I’ve been stuck in development hell because i’ve had to pivot half a thousand times thanks to legacy social media platforms blocking my requests and the numerous bottlenecks we faced with X banning the initial @tradebangers account and Farcaster API limits blocking us before I could even get any proper tests in. I had also spent well over two weeks working and building workarounds on the first iteration tokenize which was originally meant to be an intelligent token metadata generator for content with enforced creator fees. In that time here’s what’s been shipped and works today. - Automatic prediction market metadata generation from YouTube videos and other supported platforms. - Options to predict content engagement, trend virality and creators growth. - Customizable fees for all prediction markets - Open market creation system, open to all. - One click liquidity pools, add minimum liquidity once volume takes care of the rest - Launched the base mainnet and enabled smooth switching between mainnet and the sepolia testnet. - Integrated Privy Sign in for smooth onboarding - Integrated Bet Slips for easy sharing - Culture market categories to focus on markets around social media native topics - Coinbase onramp for credit card and bank transfer payments.
