#debby moving along as expected this morning but it’s the unexpected early next week that has us concerned with VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. Even the NHC forecast has 20” near Savannah, GA and the low country of SC. That may not be exactly where it happens, but the scary part is the potential is there.

Exactly. Lying with energy and force is not preferable to telling the truth in a quiet, even raspy, voice.

My take: it was a terrible format for Biden. He was forced to speak quickly, and that's not good for him. Not because of age, but due to his speech impediment. Trump just kept lying. Trump didn't answer multiple questions at all. Neither had a good night, but Joe still won.

Reminder as we move into election season: It's possible to attack someone's actions without attacking their appearance, race, sexuality, gender, or religion. And slut-shaming and "outing" makes you a bad person regardless of who it is you're shaming. MTG is a horrid human- talk about that instead of adding to a society that already weaponizes judging women by their appearance. Lindsey Graham is a piece of walking garbage- it's not an "own" to use his possible homosexual exploits as an insult... BECAUSE BEING GAY IS NOT AN INSULT. Hate Melania? Don't use her nude photos as proof that she has less value in this world than other people. Progress doesn't come from bullying and lazy insults. It comes from discussing the actual flaws in people's CHOICES. I don't understand why it's so hard for people to understand that concept. Before you fling hate, consider the innocent bystanders you'll be hitting with it too. Let's be better.
