Lovely tributes to the Mother of the House @HackneyAbbott in Parliament today. She was the only woman of colour I saw in the chamber when I was growing up and she’s smashed many a glass ceiling. Thank you Diane for your years of service.

Reforms success this evening is being wrongly framed. It’s about stagnant real wages, sky high rents and house prices, imploding public services, a sense it’s all crap. Labour must address those issues from day one.

Belgium condemns the Israeli parliament's attempts to classify UNWRA as a terrorist organisation and to remove the immunity of its staff. UNWRA's activities are essential for the Palestinians in the face of the dramatic humanitarian situation in Gaza.

❌Standing up for human rights is not a crime. ❌Standing up against an arms factory making weapons is not a crime. Over 35,562 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since Oct 7. This is a genocide. @PaxtonAccess, L3Harris’ landlord, must evict them from Brighton immediately.
