The disappearance of phone booths has made life less interesting. You can’t go there to call your mistress or set up a drug deal, can’t call your hit man. You can’t watch a bunch of thugs hanging waiting for their boss to call. Can’t use them to make prank calls. Big loss.

I feel like store-bought produce has gone way down in quality in the last 5 years.
The lettuce is wilted and small, tomatoes are flavorless, celery floppy, and the fruit is often moldy.
