आवधिक श्रम बल सर्वेक्षण (पीएलएफएस) की शुरुआत के बाद से रोजगार की स्थिति में सुधार हुआ है। बेरोजगारी दर लगभग 6 प्रतिशत से घटकर 2023–24 में 3.2 प्रतिशत रह गई है। महिला श्रम बल भागीदारी में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि हुई है और वर्ष के दौरान बेरोजगारी में लगातार गिरावट दर्ज की गई है। समावेशी विकास के अन्य संकेतक भी निरंतर प्रगति दिखाते हैं, जिनमें ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में नल से जल की बेहतर पहुंच, बड़े पैमाने पर आवास निर्माण, संपत्ति कार्डों का जारी होना और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के कवरेज का विस्तार शामिल है। शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में, कोविड के बाद हुई सीखने की क्षति को लेकर चिंताएं अब कम हो रही हैं। हालिया आकलनों में पढ़ने और गणितीय कौशल में सुधार देखा गया है -मुख्य आर्थिक सलाहकार, डॉ. वी. अनंत नागेश्वरन #EconomicSurvey #EconomicSurvey2025_26 #BudgetSession #BudgetSession2026
