Ciao! In celebration of #ItalianHeritageMonth, check out P.S. 112 Lefferts Park, a school participating in our Dual Language programs! Here, students learn in both English and Italian. The program also hopes to raise awareness about Italian culture and encourage diversity.

Students in Class J04 at Z094 are making the most of the sunshine, enjoying a variety of fun outdoor activities. They even learned to play Duck, Duck, Goose!

Hispanic Heritage Month was a vibrant and exciting celebration at Z067, where parents and students came together to honor the rich culture and traditions of the Latino community!

In celebration of Italian heritage, Mrs. McGarrell’s class at Z067 learned about the Italian flag and the meaning behind its colors!

Can you find the Gingerbread Boy? Our Mandarin dual language class at Z075 went on a school-wide adventure, meeting staff members along the way as they searched for the missing Gingerbread Boy!

Z099 hosted a cultural celebration! They began with a show-and-tell, where children shared flags, photos, dolls, and clothing that represented their unique cultures! Families brought delicious treats and popular drinks from their cultures to share!

Our Pre-K students at Z094 were introduced to their comfort bears and got creative by making unique clothing for each bear, giving them their own fashionable styles!

We have future Rembrandts in the making! Students in Class J01 at Z094 are getting creative in the art interest area!

In Mrs. Obara’s music room at Z075, our students practiced their fine motor skills by dancing with scarves and learned about body parts by creating Mat Man!

Our bulletin boards at Z111 are vibrant with the excitement of learning that happens in our classrooms every day!

5th Graders are celebrating Global Diversity Awareness Month by studying the portrait work of Kehinde Wiley and creating their own identity portraits. Check out the beautiful work! @pretto_david @20_doe
