AFL EGM of Football Performance Greg Swann on quality of umpiring:
“If you take away the ARC issues, most of the feedback we’ve had from clubs is that the umpiring has been as good as it’s been for a long time.” @FOXFOOTY
What to Do When the Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Expansion Starts!
- Pick your character and build.
- Select Seasonal + your desired game mode (the Season starts 30 minutes after launch) or play non-seasonal
- Choose Normal or Hard difficulty.
- Open your character panel, go to the Wardrobe tab, and equip your pet.
- Open your character panel, go to the Mercenaries tab, visit the Den, and pick a mercenary (Subo for map hack or Raheir for survivability).
- Enlist a mercenary for reinforcement.
- Complete the Lord of Hatred campaign.
- Complete your class quest at level 15 or 25 (Necromancer). You can skip this if you’ve previously played the character and already completed it after the change.
- Complete your Season Journey and the new Capstone Dungeons to progress and earn big rewards.
- Adjust difficulty based on your drops.
- Do War Plans/open-world activities until around level 55 (honestly, just do whatever is fun and explore, not everything is figured out yet).
- From level 50+, complete all Strongholds on Normal difficulty until you reach level 70.
- At level 70, focus on acquiring/leveling your Glyphs (the best current method is to spam the Pit).
- Decide which endgame activities you want to engage with and get juiced!
- You can also just ignore all of this and just HAVE FUN!
Note: They removed Rapport a while ago, so make sure to grab your skill points and Paragon points from the Season Journey tab.
@HawkTalkPod It seems AFL is the most inconsistent in the application of rules and interpretation.
Cricket, NFL, NRL have systems in place like proper tech, reviews and coach/captains challenges to weed out the howlers.
The sport I follow most closely by far is Aussie Rules. Can anyone tell me if there's as much fierce debate over rules and the laws of the game in any other sporting code? It feels like as a footy fan there's hot debate over rules every other week - is that normal?
@NeverSinkDev Mate, if you are ok with it, if the end result is just as good and saves you time why not. It’s your life, do what sits right with you, it’s your work, your passion.
Are you OK with me using AI for the following things for my Filter/FilterBlade work?
- Fix performance issues/vulnerabilities
- Writing 'technical' code like Unit Tests (only used to increase the quality)
- Reviewing existing code to look for quality improvements
If you're using my Filters or FilterBlade I need to hear your input.
Lets talk about AI boundaries. So far I have avoided AI-usage in the project.
I have a lot of PoE-specific-knowledge, programming and computer-linguistics skills and replacing them with AI is:
- Major downgrade.
- Breaking the trust of the community
- No fun, I like filter-tinkering.
Further: I do NOT intend to work on the actual filter and algorithmic core of my Filter project with AI.
However, I would like to get to hear the community input on using AI in a LIMITED scope in order to:
- Fix performance issues/vulnerabilities
- Writing 'technical' code like Unit Tests (only used to increase the quality)
- Reviewing existing code to look for quality improvements
I've been using AI in my fulltime job and other projects and I think it would provide a benefit.
I'd like to hear the community input.
Do you actually care?
Would you be OK with the plan above?
3/4 time. Hawks by 4. I hated that quarter of football. That is all.
Good luck picking a winner in this one. Should be a cracking final term.

@tommorris32@1116sen@AFLNation Bigger story, Coke spends 100's of millions a year on marketing and the media can't even identify the product correctly.. marketing team in tears right now.
The AFL is looking into Hawthorn small forward Nick Watson’s claims that full soft drink cans & bottles were thrown at players by Sydney fans last night.
Watson was on Nova this morning.

@elonmusk Wish could filter out video content based on the content of the video itself, not the tag or theme. I absolutely detest those videos of people wagging their finger…
Crimson Desert ships tomorrow and I have it pre-loading the background.
Early reviews are in and Open World Games has a huge video out about it. Highlights below.
