Like many startups, @Polymarket started with what made sense: Postgres. clickhou.se/3ZmTCqy As their platform took off, the data in Postgres grew, and it naturally became used for everything - transactions, data warehousing, and user-facing analytics. Analytics began to strain Postgres, and limited what questions they could ask. In a couple months, Polymarket's lean data team added ClickHouse alongside Postgres, powering their data warehouse, in-app analytics and public APIs. We chatted with @primo_data about the journey.
