198 Democrats voted against the #SAVEAct, which establishes proof of citizenship to vote. It's clear they want to allow illegal aliens to vote in our elections. Republicans are protecting the integrity of our democracy while Democrats are destroying it.

Voucher people like to talk about "teacher unions" in TX which is amusing, the core principles that make a union an actual union is the ability to strike and collective baragining, which can't be done in TX...but it plays well on facebook to those who dont know better

@ogbobjohnson322 @Matt_Stepp817 Facilities such as those football stadiums are built by bond money which is voted on directly by constituents and is not in the general budget. Chain restaurants are available through contracts in child nutrition departments that are revenue-driven and not in the general budget.

@Matt_Stepp817 These schools look like colleges with $100 million dollar football stadiums and multiple chain resturants in the cafeteria but teacher pay is so low they can't afford to live in the districts they teach....but how dare they unionize and ask for a fair wage

I have a simple math issue. How is the state funding at $6150 per student, but a withdrawal from the system is worth $8,000? Which one is it? Are we intentionally over funding the ESA or are we intentionally under funding public schools? (It's both, by the way)
