Chuck Schumer has voted against advancing full Department of Homeland Security appropriations bills four times since mid-February 2026. These were cloture motions on House-passed measures to fund the entire department through September, which failed to reach the 60-vote threshold amid the ongoing negotiations over ICE reforms. Senate records and multiple reports (The Hill, Newsweek, Politico) confirm the votes occurred on or around Feb. 12, Feb. 25, and twice more by mid-March.
