A good step to reduce on-street parking chaos, especially when many houses are built without proper parking facilities.

@manas_muduli These are really good work done and that too in a time bound manner. ISBT Baramunda and NSBT Cuttack are prime example functional public Infra. But all these Infra need to be self sustainable, govt should regulate stoppage of inter city busses throughout city limits

The difference? Facility management here is handled by a private agency - cleaning, security, and parking.
This is exactly how public infrastructure should be managed.

At 81 and 84 my husband and I travelled through Konark, Chilika, Puri and Dhauli with our son and grandson.
We found dolphins, temples that function like sundials, an unforgettable darshan at Jagannath — and beaches cleaner than many European coastlines I visited years ago.
Yet this remarkable state remains under-celebrated.

Odisha’s famous Manikapatna Dahi from Puri may soon receive a GI tag… a proud recognition of its unique taste and centuries-old tradition.
Manikapatna Dahi of Puri is deeply connected to the famous #Kanchi expedition.
The Kanchi expedition is a legendary, historical and spiritual tale from Odisha involving Shree Jagannatha, His brother Balabhadra, and the then Gajapati King.
It is believed that a milkmaid, Manika Gauduni, offered dahi to Shree Jagannatha and Shree Balabhadra on their way to Kanchi. With the support of Mahaprabhu, the King of Odisha won the war in Kanchi.
Traditionally, this curd is prepared using milk from indigenous breeds reared in the Krishnaprasad and Brahmagiri areas of Puri district. Milk from these native breeds gives the curd its distinct flavour, thick texture and nutritional value.
To secure a GI tag, OUAT has compiled historical evidence including the Madala Panji of Jagannatha Temple, Puri.
Once granted the GI tag, Manikapatna Dahi is expected to gain wider recognition, helping preserve this traditional dairy practice while boosting the local economy and the livelihoods of dairy farmers in the region.

This @ICICILombard idiots tricked me.
My bike policy is expiring in 2029 and these cheaters sent me a cunningly formatted email in such a way that the date is in one line and the year in the next. Also, they timed it in such a way that the date of the email is one day before the said expiry date.
The moment I saw the date of expiration (didn’t realize that I am cheated) without checking the actual policy (I was in panic mode the moment I saw that the policy expires the next day), I paid the premium for a policy that’s expiration date is three years from today.
Dear ICICI Lombard, it’s very cheap and cunning for you to do this to your customers. Rather you can beg in the streets or to make more money, you can even do p**** services if you want additional money to ramp up your balance sheet for this year.
This is the last ever policy I am going to take with you and I am going to advice all of my clients and friends to stay away from your pathetic, selfish and downright disgusting way of running your business.

Congratulations to the BJP Government of Odisha on presenting another budget. It is quite disappointing that the Double Engine Government is taking Odisha in reverse direction after promising moon for the people of Odisha. Welcome to the new era where every newborn child in Odisha will be welcomed with a per-capita loan burden of nearly 30,000 rupees. When BJD Govt assumed office, Odisha’s revenues were used to repay loans and service debts, leaving very little funds available for development projects or people’s welfare. With years of meticulous planning and fiscal prudence, we reduced the loan burden drastically. Financially we were the best managed state in country. But the BJP Govt is well on its course to make Odisha a bankrupt state soon. The total debt is soon going to touch 1,30,000 crore rupees. This will strain Odisha’s finances, derail state’s development momentum and welfare of the people. People of Odisha hoped that the Double Engine will bring double benefit-Grant-In-Aid from Centre will double. But unfortunately, Central remittances to Odisha are shrinking year after year-especially during last two years. Glad that Hon’ble Chief Minister has given tribute to the farmers in this speech. But the budget has fallen short in addressing the real issues of farmers. All grand promises without any focus on the development of the state. In short: The budget is like a full menu in an empty kitchen.
