@mishradidi Yes and also lack of funding which takes you back to risk factor if you dig in.

ok genuine question: why do indian private tech companies still lean so hard into IT services (low R&D intensity) and avoid building deep tech compounding loops?
is it lack of talent/vision, lack of funding, lack of risk appetite or something else i’m missing?
akankshark@mishradidi
IT services (outsourcing, apps, global tech builds) powered India for decades. that era is ending. deep-tech (chips, frontier AI) is where value is and Taiwan is already there. THIS has now started showing up in India’s economy, tech layoffs, and how markets are being priced

@krshubham1708 Where do you run exactly? Is there a park or you just prefer empty roads?

Indiranagar is #Bangalore’s Bandra - lots of coffee cafes, restaurants and all the vibes :)

A few things I’d do early:
Talk to 30-50 potential users before building
Hang out where your ICP already spends time
Start posting learnings publicly while building
Build an email list/waitlist before launch
Study competitors’ reviews to find positioning gaps and also 1 star reviews
Talk to 5-10 agency partners and understand if they think your app can solve a real pain for merchants
Pick one acquisition channel and go deep first
The best distribution usually comes from understanding the customer deeply enough

1000 new Shopify apps in 10 days.
Most people see chaos. I see opportunity.
After talking to 700+ Shopify app founders, the pattern is clear:
The ones who win aren't the best builders. They're the best at distribution.
When the app store floods, the founders who already own a niche, who have brand, who have trust, they don't just survive. They pull ahead.
The flood isn't your enemy. Obscurity is.
