I think maybe making clearer that there is a refund policy in the first place would be helpful in such cases. You only have it very small in the footer of your landing page, not in the FAQ, not in the same box as the pricing plans. I honestly think that if he would want to he could open a dispute and win. So maybe adding something like that will make it clearer and also give you more leverage :)

@rossark0 Nope, i have a clear refund policy that says NO refunds I told him to read it twice tho...

Yesterday I got my first hater A guy asked for a refund in MediaFast chat I pointed him to our refund policy, which clearly states we don’t offer refunds He messaged again, same request I redirected him once more and shared the rules publicly (we have a Discord-like rules channel) Then he blew up. He posted on X calling me a scammer and commented the same thing under two of my posts. Turns out: - His DM was sitting in my spam folder - After a 2-minute conversation, I realized he never even used the app - He wanted a Reddit scheduler (a side feature), decided it “made no sense” for him and jumped to conclusions I explained that MediaFast’s real goal is different: It finds subreddits, tells you what to post, when to post, how to post, and helps you market on Reddit without getting suspended I told him to be careful before calling someone a scammer based on his own mistake, wished him well, and moved on Later, he deleted all his posts and comments Not angry Just a reminder that shipping publicly also means dealing with stuff like this

Let me know if this person is you: - launched 1-3 small projects, but - made little or no money from them - have a full-time job that drains most of your day - have limited time and limited energy - try to do everything at once, but you get overwhelmed
