@mikepat711 I had this issue on my 3. This is the worst part of Tesla ownership. The service center guys in the garage said never to use WD-40 because it will damage the rubber eventually. but just rubbing compound.

I’ve posted this in the past, but I see so many Tesla’s all janked up from soap scum, so I’m posting it again. This is how you fix it. WD-40 + tiny spray on cloth. Takes 30 secs.

@LamarMK Currently lease a MY RWD-LR. Coincidentally tested a M3 P and MYP yesterday. If I didn’t need more room for kids, I would totally go with the M3P as it reminded me a lot of the g80 M3 I used to own. I put in the order for an MYP. Tesla has ruined me.

The new Model 3 Performance is the perfect daily driver if you want something fun. Comfortable enough to drive every day, but fast enough to make every drive exciting. Can you imagine a BMW M3, WRX, or Type R owner demo driving one of these? The moment they feel that instant power and experience FSD, they’re going to start looking at their trade in value. Would you trade your sports car for a Model 3 Performance?

Drove back to back today. I have a MYP in Frosted Blue over White order in, but wanted to make sure I was going to proceed over the M3P. My car enthusiast heart loves the M3P, but reality and daily driving around town with some kids makes my decision reinforced to go with the MYP. We currently have a rear wheel drive Model Y that we love. Both are amazing choices! Which one would you choose? $TSLA @Tesla

@silver_charm @MattWallaceTech With a vast supercharged network, I don’t really desire much more range. I would like it to get the stated range that would be nice but other than that, I’m more than fine for most of my driving.

@MattWallaceTech It may look good & have some great specs but it needs better range. Plus they need to restore driver stalks.

Parked next to someone’s brand new Model Y Performance. Not gonna lie it looks so good in Ultra Red with white seats.

Maybe I’m spoiled, maybe I don’t know any better or maybe I don’t know what I’m missing out on but I’ll never understand how some of you will fly 3 or 4 sectors a day and do it all again tomorrow. Long haul is all I’ve ever known, and at 45 is all I ever hope I know, God willing.

Bought a 2026 Model Y Juniper in May and it’s been problem after problem: • constant steering wheel clicking (service “can’t hear it”) • both front seats replaced after 3 visits, noisy front struts that feel like a 1990s beater • and now grinding brakes Feels like they rushed the first batch with leftover parts. Already seeing major revisions (bigger screen, FSD 4.5 hardware, black headliner, etc.) just months later. My 2024 Highland Model 3 has been flawless. @miami_rick To each their own Rick. 3 days on 4 days off, only 1-2 time zones. Schedule flexibility that allows for even more time off. $394 an hour in the left seat for a US carrier for the tiny little 737 that you look down on.
