There are a lot of places that get old after a while. The boom boom room is not one of them

The act of betting is rewarded as opposed to being correct. "SaaS stocks are down -90%! I'm gonna buy because NOBODY is going to rewrite $WDAY obviously!" This kind of high conviction decision-making doesn't work in my occupation. I'll just die. Even if I'm correct, I'm correct during a small moment in time. But it does work as a stock market furu! The way to succeed here is posting high-conviction words. As a stock market furu, you can simply take a strong stance and let statistics do the work. About half of it will be right, and you just retweet that. When you retweet, you say "Did you buy, anon??" and then goad others into buying. When they buy and it topples over, you tell them "imagine buying AFTER the +50% move!" You can always win once one of your bets pans out. ---------- Be careful out there – maybe the SaaSpocalypse is real. But the people saying "it's over" and "it's mispriced" are all using high conviction words to discuss something they don't actually know anything about. I'm a field software engineer. Company paying this much feels appealing but it’s really not. They are advertising to a GenZ money centric set of people who will just learn basically nothing except that working in tech sucks.

I wish everything was called New York or Newark. We should call Jersey City “York City”. We should straight up call Philadelphia “Penn Station New York” instead. The tourist trap of people ending up in Newark Penn Station instead of New York Penn Station isn’t sufficient.
