I'm guessing if you look at all at bats the odds will appear efficient on average, so if they are choosing randomly from that pool, its basically a true odds + margin bet....

But with you on that one camera angle making it look worse, think it’s a grey area but no goal imo

@dirtyracoon25 @FakeGuentzel59 @KDPomp yup that’s what i was trying to show, he made an initial move in and then backed up, if he just kept skating to the side and didn’t make the move towards the crease sure, but in that first clip you can also see him actively stopping to move backwards so

@prometheus8080 @FakeGuentzel59 @KDPomp I think your screen shots show in shot 2 that the puck is further away from the red line of the goalline from shot 1 and then it goes back foreward for shot 3....so the puck went backwards. Not sure if a puck going parallel is legal or not.

@FakeGuentzel59 @KDPomp i get what you’re saying, but the puck does in fact move away from the goal line, his forward momentum is also stopped as well, in the moment its “not clear” but slowed down it’s super viable

@prometheus8080 @KDPomp The goal line extends beyond the goal. He moves away from the goal. I don't think the puck ever moves away from the goal line. It's close to parallel at the very second before the shot is taken, but it's close not for certain in my mind.
