I'm well past the point of finding any humor in flat-earth or denying the moon landing. Anti-intellectualism is a rot that is only just beginning to manifest its worst consequences.

Hot take for a niche corner of those who follow me: @SquareEnix really dropped the ball with #FFVIIRebirth. There's some genuine great moments, especially early, surrounded by boring and ever repeating world-map fetch-quests. It feels like I'm playing Tomb Raider.

@KyleSchumacher @grok @BGatesIsaPyscho And to further answer your question, it was taken by the astronauts currently on their way to the moon, shot through the window of the spacecraft they're inside of. This is why you can see the triangular frame of the window.

Artemis II just dropped a new picture of Earth (Left). Hey @grok why do all these images of planet Earth from NASA all look entirely different? Please explain it to me like I’m five years old.

@KyleSchumacher @grok @BGatesIsaPyscho It's not a satellite image stitched together. It's a long-exposure photograph, meaning the shutter remained open to expose and see the night-time side of the earth, illuminated by the moon. This "trickery" is done entirely inside the camera.

All NLE are guilty of this but @rohit_bmd, could you put in a good word to have these notes section's expandable so I can choose to see the entire comment? While you're at it, the marker list should be able to be seen along with media. I'd like to be able to see reference the marker comment while searching in media pool.

Apple acquired #MotionVFX and people are celebrating. Adorable. See you all in 18 months when it’s a slightly worse toggle buried in #FCP’s “Pro” subscription upgrade, while FCP remains largely the same build it is today. (Hope I’m wrong)

@chrisatlatenite @motionVFX @Apple Definitely tested me. I used to buy a one or two packs a month. I haven't purchased one now for almost a year. The disdain I have for them is strong and honestly, Apple buying them instead investing in improving FCP is a bad sign to me. I hope I'm wrong.

This isn’t as big of a deal as you might think. Just a stop gap to bridge the chasm of missing functionality that they still haven’t addressed. What would be huge is for them to release a road map of how they plan to improve FCP. MotionVFX turned into a garbage business model that’s pissed off and alienated many of its users. If that’s a big win, then FCP is doomed.

@PatrickStirling Sounds like @Blackmagic_News should response by hiring that team immediately to start making official Fusion templates.

@avideomakr was on that team for a bit and they're all super talented. really hoping they all land on their feet.

As much of a disappointment MotionVFX has been in terms of their shift in business model as of late, their plugins, templates, and talent is unmatched. They deserved to be part of apple a while ago. But I'm curious if this means they'll will stop making Resolve plugins. #postchat

On the same token, it's my head-canon that Anakin desperate to stay alive, consumed Padme's life-force and killed her unintentionally. The juxtaposition of her death with his rise seems too coincidental to me.

Thinking about Darth Sideous admitting that his master could control the force to influence life, learned everything he knew, then killed him in his sleep. I wonder if his master, in his dying moments, reached out to try and save his own life and unintentionally created Anakin.

I think the next #Terminator movie should be set in the 70s, feature a T-600, be a horror / slasher analogy like T1, and ultimately, should mirror SAW in the sense that the "hero" characters loose spectacularly, while also being the "Batman Begins" of a new interpretation.
