@0neWayOut @Tboy21820873 You can do that while using a macguffin as a driving force. Mario is full of them, so it actually made sense to use one here as despite the similar set up for the first movie. It would have been much different given Rosalina's presence is much larger. Or should have been.

@ChaseCanMiss @ToonHive Live a little aka justify a MEDIOCRE MARIO movie because it has a lot of references to the games. You don't even have that excuse when Sonic isn't 1 to 1 adaptation of the game, and they still managed to have good to great movies. Galaxy deserved better than this.

@proto257 @ToonHive Spider-Man and Puss In Boots are very story oriented animated movies(haven’t seen Hoppers yet so can’t have a take on it) EVERY Mario story is literally do whatever it takes to save the princess lol. There are some to be taken seriously and some meant for fun. Live a little.

Rewatched The Super Mario Bros Movie. Could it have been longer? Sure. Could it have used more Luigi? Absolutely. But good lord this thing fires on all cylinders from minute one. Any criticisms I have are lessened by its pure tremendous energy. Bring on Galaxy.

@thebeav20 I heard the creator had plans for them in Galactic addressing this since he would've made that show to be more darker and serialized. But those plans fell through once CN showed no interest for that show.
