This week I learned the dialing 911 with zero cell phone service works perfectly. Grateful my friend is doing well after a bike crash. This cattle guard destroyed his wheel at 30mph. 🙏🙏

@reneehwilliams . I grew up in Santa Rosa, but born in Eureka. I love all those small little towns along and off the 101. Ever been to Peanut? I was at BYU in the early late 80s, early 90s and the mechanic on North Canyon Road and Cougar blvd (1230 North) was from Covelo.

My dad is from a tiny California town called covelo, he was about 8 years old when the missionaries converted and baptized his entire family. 60 years later we moved to a small eastern Utah town where we discovered that the missionary who converted my dad is in our stake.

I am excited for what is to come next as I have some time to reflect, spend time with family, and find ways to continue to engage in new ways in a career that I have loved.

So, today I announced that I am retiring from my role as Provo City's Chief Administrative Officer effective September 16, 2023. It will mark 20 years since I arrived in Provo in 2003, and given circumstances in my life it seemed like the opportune time to make the transition

So today, a male colleague has told me that as a women and aged 61, I am too old to train and run a marathon. Is he right? @UKRunChat I ran a half marathon last year and have another planned for this year. Is it really out of my reach? I don’t think so #marathon
