Off late the world feels like one big sales pitch. It’s not just corporations but people too. Everyone’s constantly selling their personal brand, always pitching, always judging and one upping. Or maybe I’m the old man yelling at the sky #ThoughtOfTheDay

Working agile is overrated. I spent 12 years in agony and fixed a major flaw for good. My Notion doc will solve a huge pain: Estimating. I normally sell it for $25 but I'm giving it away for free today. Just comment with "Estimate" below and I'll DM it to you

People often over estimate what they can do in a week but severely under estimate what can be accomplished in a year.

Humans have a tendency to overestimate their own headwinds and others' tailwinds. Remember, it is never as hard as you think it is for you and never as easy as it looks for others.

@ashray_bhat @kunalb11 India ranks one of the lowest in female workforce participation. There is a major change in policy and societal norms required to turn this around. How can the country grow when essentially half its population is left out of the job market.

I picked up a very interesting fact when I was listening to Mr.@kunalb11. Only 9%(~7% now) of the urban women population is employed! Given this population group is likely to be well educated and talented, there is a real need to find out why ~90% are out of the earning popln.

Anyone starting new political parties in India once this crisis is over? Would be amazing if there are young, competent, technocratic leaders in Bangalore. Our demographics might actually allow them to win!

@paraschopra Two reasons Communal solidarity works when it comes from the community and not as a top down directive Hampers the media narrative. All I see on the news is candle lighting while this time and mind space could have been used for real awareness If not evil, misguided at best.

People who’re criticising today’s “light the candle at 9pm” event in India do not understand the importance of shared activities in giving people hope. Also, each time you see your neighbours follow trivial orders, you’re more likely to follow top-down social distancing orders.

I'm stunned by the depth of #coronavirus information being released in #Singapore. On this website you can see every known infection case, where the person lives and works, which hospital they got admitted to, and the network topology of carriers, all laid out on a time-series
