Off late the world feels like one big sales pitch. It’s not just corporations but people too. Everyone’s constantly selling their personal brand, always pitching, always judging and one upping. Or maybe I’m the old man yelling at the sky #ThoughtOfTheDay

People often over estimate what they can do in a week but severely under estimate what can be accomplished in a year.

@ashray_bhat @kunalb11 India ranks one of the lowest in female workforce participation. There is a major change in policy and societal norms required to turn this around. How can the country grow when essentially half its population is left out of the job market.

I picked up a very interesting fact when I was listening to Mr.@kunalb11. Only 9%(~7% now) of the urban women population is employed! Given this population group is likely to be well educated and talented, there is a real need to find out why ~90% are out of the earning popln.

People who’re criticising today’s “light the candle at 9pm” event in India do not understand the importance of shared activities in giving people hope. Also, each time you see your neighbours follow trivial orders, you’re more likely to follow top-down social distancing orders.
