Not my story but worth to share:
My husband has said "I love you" every single day for twelve years. Three weeks ago he stopped. No fight. No distance. Just stopped. Not passive aggressive about it. Still kind. Still present. Just those three words gone. Day four I thought maybe I was imagining it. Day eight I was sure I wasn't. Day twelve I almost asked. Stopped myself. Watched instead. He was fine.
Maybe better than fine actually. More relaxed somehow. Laughed easier. Day eighteen I finally asked him directly. He looked confused for a second. Then he said he'd read something about how when words get repeated every day they start to lose weight. He'd been trying to find new ways to say it without saying it. See if I noticed. I told him I noticed. He asked what I'd seen. I thought about it. He'd made my coffee without asking every morning. Left the heated blanket on my side.
Texted me once midday for no reason just to say he was thinking about me. He was waiting. I said: "I saw it." He smiled.

Tonight a birthday table of 10 spent hundreds of dollars. Everyone e-transferred the money to one guy so he could put it on his premium credit card and collect the points.
Tip: $0.
My server quietly thanked the birthday girl and mentioned her friend had decided not to tip.
The entire table turned on him.
He got roasted so hard he pulled out cash and fixed it on the spot.
Don't use your friends to farm points while stiffing the staff.
