Can we just pause and acknowledge how cool it is that America still has leaders openly talking about God and national identity without apology? That’s rare in the West. While others avoid offending, we still have leaders willing to say our rights come from God not government.

Friends, much of our democracy is grounded in God, and we should not divorce these two dimensions of life. That is what this Rededicate 250 celebration is all about, and I’m honored to be part of it by offering remarks and a rededication prayer.
