Happy for Reschny, the #Flames future top 6 C will be the undisputed 1C next year and be a huge player for team Canada. However, I want Dane Jackson and his staff to be more extreme with his offensive deployment, I want to see how high his offensive ceiling really is
I'll say it until I'm blue in the face. Passing is the most underrated skill in hockey. Our game is the ultimate team game. If we don't teach our kids how to pass and support consistently we're not developing hockey players.
Check out these beauties from last night. Great job!

The 6-foot-4 St. Thomas commit scored 10 goals and totaled 29 points for the the Skippers this season and is listed as one of NHL Central Scouting's North American skaters
If youth coaches would encourage their D to play like this in the offensive zone instead of just stand at the blue line, more kids would want to play D!!!!

I am very honored and excited to announce my commitment to the University of St. Thomas to play division 1 hockey, and continue my academics. Thank you to my family, friends, coaches, and teammates who have helped me get to this point in my career! #rolltoms 😈
One game wasn’t enough against a very good @TeamBrick_AB squad. Heavyweight tilt this afternoon to determine the champions of the @PlayHockeyNAHC tourney in Winnipeg. Game time 2pm at Iceplex. @LiveBarn
Thank You former @MinnesotaBlades Nick Bjugstad for the souvenir pucks! These boys were ecstatic! Not only did they take home The 2011 Music City Invitational @theBrickseries but witnessed a @mnwild OTW in NSH. Memories that will last a lifetime! @PLboyshockey@YouthHockeyHub
The amount of yelling, instead of coaching, that goes on at youth sports games from coaches to players is outrageous.
They’re kids. No, they don’t know what they’re doing. That’s why you’re the COACH. To help them, not yell at, belittle, and discourage them.

Parents: Sometimes the hardest thing to do is just support your child. Regardless of their performance, the most important things a player can hear after a game are “I love being at your games”, “I love you” & “I’m proud of you”. Everything else can wait. There’s a time & place!
GET THE RIGHT GUYS ON THE BUS!
"Mediocre people don’t like high achievers and high achievers don’t like mediocre people ... Get the right guys on the bus, get them in the right seats, and get the wrong guys off the bus."
