Due to the ongoing health situation caused by the corona virus, the 6th Penn State Bioinorganic Workshop will be offered virtually, tentatively June 2-8, 2021. sites.psu.edu/bioinorganic/

It's #BlackinInorganic Wednesday! I've spent a lot of my time being #BlackInChem trying to understand how nature uses heavy metals to store, transfer, and create energy in metalloproteins. My favorite transition metal is iron because it's buried in so many cool proteins!
