It’s actually not funny. We block for safety. We had a journalist stalked on X yesterday that turned into a physical encounter. I recently had a friend actually photographed on the streets by an X stalker. I had my entire home hacked by an X stalker. I was filmed in a restaurant by an X stalker. You can’t compare with these.

I believe in the future of #web3 and #music. I believe in #MusicNFTs. Here's why. Music NFTs combine patronage, collectibility and utility into a smart digital asset with myriad uses. They can be proof of ownership of an artist's work; or a ticket to get into a live show; or a membership card in an exclusive club. They can be used to verify identity in an online world based on the artists' work. They can be aggregated into novel combinations that grant collectors privileges that the artist offers. And the list goes on. And all of this is under the control of the artist, and the majority of the proceeds go to the artist-- a very different situation than we have ever seen in the music industry - since there has been a music industry. For these reasons and more, I believe in Music NFTs. So much so that I recently left my tech job to pursue my first love, music, full-time. I am following in the footsteps of many brave and innovative musicians who have been blazing this trail for the last few years, many of whom I support as a collector, superfan and friend. I sold my first NFT collection in two days. My second collection, much bigger, is in progress now. It's a 1,000 NFT collection featuring 10 songs and incredible collectible artwork. This may be a controversial take, though I don't feel that it should be. Here goes. You can't call yourself a Metaverse technology expert if the following three things aren't true: - You have at least one active crypto wallet and trade crytpo and NFTs - You own a relatively new VR headset (Quest, etc) - You have an active account on a generative AI or text LLM platform (eg Midjourney, ChatGPT) You may be surprised at how many self-styled experts are lacking in one or more of the above. And yet, they still claim to have a finger on the pulse.
