Today we are announcing that OCEAN’s backend will be upgraded to follow multiple chains independently in the event of a BIP 110 chain split. If a split occurs, DATUM miners automatically continue on whichever chain their own node enforces, and OCEAN will credit rewards to a split share log for that chain, subject to the chain’s continued operation and to our Terms of Service. OCEAN will effectively operate as two pools from the split point. Updated Terms of Service addressing split handling will be published before block 961632. We are building all this so our miners can receive rewards based on their own actions without adversely affecting other OCEAN miners.

I do not like Ordinals. I do not like inscriptions. I think stuffing arbitrary images, token metadata, and other junk into Bitcoin transactions is stupid, unproductive, and a waste of block space. So BIP-110 begins with a complaint I can understand.

I'm not on any "side" but Bitcoin and freedom of choice. Just as I may not like what someone has to say I will always defend their 1st amendment right to say it. I do know what is being said here by Kratter is not a presentation of facts but rather unhinged rhetoric and threats if he doesn't get his way. It is counter to the ethos of Bitcoin which already has ways to generate consensus without threats and attempts to shame people who don't agree with you. Label me as you wish but take that stuff elsewhere.

Giuseppe walks up to him, trying to convince him to get off the road. As the man refuses, Giuseppe finishes his ice cream before removing the man from the street by force.
Giuseppe is running for Mayor of San Benedetto del Tronto this year and is in the middle of his electoral campaign.
It’s unclear whether he will rise or fall in opinion polls after this incident.

@onlyskypace Should be 6 square meters. A= 1/2 base × height. Height is already given as 4m. Base (3m) is solved using the Pythagorean theorem on information already provided (a=4m, c=5m).

@RCEY28 I have mostly driven a manual most of my life … her constant gear changing on the FREEWAY (presumably doing 80m/h by the look of her billowing hair) I don’t see fluidity - I see gear crushing 😂🤦♀️

This girl is cruising down the highway in her stick shift, windows down, wind in her hair, belting out songs while she shifts gears without missing a beat. She looks genuinely happy and in control.
Most people these days never learn how to drive manual. It takes real timing and coordination to get the clutch and gas right, especially when you’re just trying to have fun and sing along. Seeing her do it so naturally makes you realize how much of that skill is disappearing.
Do you think driving stick is becoming a lost art, or do you still think it’s worth teaching people even if almost every new car is automatic?
