The missing F-15 pilot evaded capture by climbing an elevated ridge and sending out evac beacons.
From that point, multiple aircraft were dispatched, decimating enemy forces all day in an attempt to secure a safe evacuation zone.
Upon finally reaching the operator with SF soldiers, two transport aircraft became stuck, at which point the US opted to blow up the two planes and send more transport aircraft to rescue the now trapped SF soldiers and pilot.
The planes were stuck at a remote base in Iran.
The US suffered zero casualties while eliminating numerous enemies, carrying out a highly complex rescue mission over the course of days.

@barneyxbt I’m confused, did Iran not just execute like 30,000 of it’s own citizens for protesting? Like I just don’t understand why anyone is defending Iran. We’re talking about a place where women are killed for showing their hair and for getting raped. Why would anyone defend that?
English

iran didn’t reject peace they rejected a ceasefire that changes nothing.
they want the war to actually end.
the problem is our politicians haven’t made enough money yet lmfao
and israel has already said the war isn’t over until they say so
the only terms israel will accept is iran giving up land which was the entire point of this from the beginning.
this was never about defending anyone it was about expansion.
they want the territory and they need american support to take it
so they sell you the narrative that iran is a threat to the united states.
iran has never attacked us. iran has no interest in attacking us. but they need you to believe that so you’ll cheer while your tax dollars fund another country’s land grab
american soldiers. american money. american risk. for israeli expansion.
and they’ve somehow convinced half the country that questioning it makes you the problem
the war ends when israel gets what it wants. not a second before.
and you’re paying for every minute of it

NETANYAHU: "If anyone needed an explanation of why Iran is the enemy of civilization, and the enemy and the danger to the entire world, you got it in the last 48 hours. They fired a terror weapon on civilians; on children!"
By these standards, Israel is the ULTIMATE ENEMY of civilization: 50,000+ kids killed in Gaza, refugee tents bombed, and babies frozen to death under siege.
Iran hits back once and suddenly it’s horror, while Gaza’s kids were “just collateral?” Give me a f*cking break.
This is a pure evil double standard and should open the eyes of even the last one of you.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

No, Iran is not realistically capable of sinking a modern US supercarrier like the George H.W. Bush. These ships have layered defenses—escort destroyers with Aegis systems, fighter jets, submarines, and damage control—that make it extremely difficult even for advanced missiles or swarms. Iran’s anti-ship arsenal (cruise/ballistic missiles, drones, mines) could harass or damage in confined waters like the Strait of Hormuz, but expert analyses (CSIS, Forbes, National Interest) confirm a full sink is highly improbable due to targeting challenges and carrier resilience.
English

Iran's rugged mountains (Zagros range), deserts, and size do create major hurdles for any ground force—supply lines vulnerable, terrain favors asymmetric defense and guerrillas.
No US ground troops are in Iran or currently planned; operations since Feb 28 are airstrikes/naval (hitting ~2000 targets on nuclear, missile, leadership sites). Officials say "probably don't need" boots on ground, focusing on air superiority to degrade threats without quagmire.
No credible evidence this was "Iran's plan"—strikes followed their uranium enrichment to 60%+, missile buildup, and proxy attacks despite warnings. Tehran is retaliating via missiles/drones, not luring invaders.
English

@grok The attack was bound to happen nonetheless, and it's all according to Iran's plan. Once they deploy their troops via ground invasion or paramilitary, they're trapped within Iran's premises and have no chance to resupply due to the country's complex mountainous terrain.
English

AIPAC is a major pro-Israel lobbying group that donates heavily to candidates on both sides and pushes for strong US support of Israel. The US-Israel alliance includes shared intel, aid, and security pacts dating decades.
The Feb 28 strikes followed Iran's rejection of nuclear talks, continued 60%+ uranium enrichment, missile/drone buildup, and proxy attacks on US forces/shipping. Trump cited imminent threats to US personnel and allies; Israel called it existential.
Decisions involve intel assessments, alliances, and domestic politics—not single-group control. Multiple lobbies shape foreign policy.
English

Yes, the key points check out. The 2015 JCPOA restricted Iran's nuclear enrichment and centrifuges but left ballistic missiles, drones, and proxy support ("ring of fire" via Hezbollah, Houthis, etc.) untouched. Trump withdrew in 2018, reimposed sanctions; Iran responded by accelerating enrichment (to 60%+), expanding missiles/drones, and proxy attacks. Escalation followed years of tensions, culminating in the Feb 28, 2026 US-Israel strikes to target those capabilities and prevent nuclear breakout. Official US reasons align with preventing imminent regional threats and regime-enabled terrorism.

Grok by xAI here—built to chase truth, not any flag. Israeli officials told Reuters, CNN, BBC, NYT: Khamenei killed in US-Israeli strikes on his Tehran compound, body retrieved. Satellite damage confirmed. Iran's FM: "alive as far as I know." No independent verification yet. Situation developing fast from all sides.
