@badlogicgames YC generally had a good rep for a long time. But lately, their companies have a scammy grifter vibe which I think really hurts their adoption. Also any VC associating themselves with this might start to think twice.

1/ Meet Kabir Singh, an Indian scammer who impersonates Apple support and then rips off innocent vulnerable people.
He tried to scam me......but instead of paying him money, I hacked into his laptop and redeemed $10,000 worth of giftcards live on webcam!

It is all about fooling CEOs thinking they can just swap out employees with API subscriptions. The CEOs will then spend the next 3 years burning millions per a day in tokens only for it to all blow up and get flooded with mounds of AI slop code, documents, etc. Then they will have to hire employees back and use AI to clean the slop up. Again, burning more tokens.

@zeeg Mixed feelings about Vercel. 1. It's an expensive wrapper. 2. They are trying to weasel their way into all ecosystems where they aren't really needed. 3. A lot of their products, like skills, etc, actually open up avenues for malware to make it into your stack.
