@SaahilKamran03 @PoemzOfTheHeart @PlayStation Bro do you have Airtel SIM?… It only connects on the same network. The Portal will work ONLY if it’s on the exact Wi-Fi your PS5 is connected to. And PlayStation support literally said Airtel SIM or Airtel Wi-Fi won’t work at all… no idea why

@pureeinstinct @PlayStation Yea mine still has resolution issues even when connected to Wi-Fi outside my home and my PS5 is connected to Ethernet. This update screwed up a lot of things.

@Dalaigabi @AskPS_UK It’s not just you, a lot of people are facing this. My Portal also stopped connecting to hotspot after the 6.0.1 update. No idea if Sony will release a patch or not.

@AskPS_UK question, I have a PS Portal, it works fine on WiFi, but I can't play using my mobile hotspot with cellular data (on my phone I can play remote). Do you have any idea how (easy) fix this issue?

@Cayde53378193 @therealcanwater @xMBGx Same here…It connects on Wi-Fi but not on hotspot after the update. I talked to support and they said Sony claims Portal is meant to work only on Wi-Fi not hotspot But other people are still able to play on hotspot so the issue is only with some users No idea if Sony will fix it

@OGG1993 After the 6.0.1 update, my PS Portal is not connecting to my PS5 through mobile hotspot. It shows “Something went wrong” every time. Before the update, hotspot connection was working normally.
