Units 740 and the new generation VNLS units 807, 808, and 809 are out working as April comes to a close. This month has been quite mixed: one-third was filled with snow, ice, and cold; another third saw fluctuating temperatures between cold and warm; and the final third was pleasant. Overall, the weather has been challenging, but early indicators for the month’s totals look promising. These units are equipped with optimized 2.47 I-Torque D13 TC engines, 13-speed I-shift overdrive transmissions, AirDog systems, Dr preload, ecofins, Hot Shot's Secret EDT and fluid throughout, centrifuge balancers, and Michelin X-One WBST tires. Solar charging is implemented to keep alternator drag low, while flowbelow systems and tight air gaps help maintain airflow across all trucks and three of the four trailers. New aerodynamic trailers are on the way. We are running cruise control at 60 mph with gross weights of 140,000 lbs, 950 overdrive, and 1220 direct. The 13-speed transmission provides one gear for low power demand and another for high power demand, ensuring optimal performance. Please note that the sheets reflect imperial mpg.
