And fyi, I have met very wonderful doctors from KIU. But just like any other institution, it's not spot clean and has flaws here and there. That's not exclusive to KIU,it's at MAK, MUST,UCU etcetera. But what matters is that when issues are raised, it's an eye opener to the institution to better itself other than dragging the complainant to court yet in reality the complaints are valid.

You should learn to take constructive criticism. The man is clearly calling out negative practices at the university. The solution is as simple as tending to them, streamline your admission criteria,admit quality over quantity for the benefit of patients to be attended to later. Refund students' fees if unadmitted, patch the loopholes and make your university a centre of quality excellence. @SpireJim is merely a suggestion box and you merely reducing his campaign to thinking he is undermining the sacrifice of the medical professionals is blatantly absurd

Their medical school alone has single handedly improved doctor patiemt ratio in all regions of Ug in both regional and general hospitals Along with their clinical rotating students, they send atleast 3 specialists and 6 SHOs in all regions these students take of people loved 1s

Many people out there have no idea how university rankings work and how easy it is for ill-regulated universities to manipulate and rank highly to dupe the unsuspecting public. This is actually done by some Ugandan universities. Ask the professors there, they’ll tell you the tricks used. That’s why the public is confused why some universities that compromise a lot on quality rank highly, while some of those that are known for sticking to the right thing rank lower. In a corrupt environment, anything goes and otherwise good initiatives lose meaning. Ironically, National Council of Higher Education is aware of all we are talking about.
