It is becoming painfully obvious that many among us are no longer interested in accountability. When error rises in our midst, or when compromise begins to spread through the Church, silence suddenly becomes “wisdom.” Then tomorrow, when scandals break out be it sexual immorality, abuse, manipulation, spiritual corruption, everybody will act shocked, forgetting that some of us warned against the very things being normalized today in the name of “progressive salvation” and misapplied grace. Apparently now, if a pastor or church member is living in open sin, it is no longer a serious issue because “Peter did not change immediately after meeting Jesus,” or because “everybody sins; it’s only the ones that get caught that are called sinners.” So wolves can comfortably find shelter in the Church while dressed like sheep. Brothers take advantage of sisters, sisters manipulate brothers through seduction and lust, and we are told not to raise concern because both the victims and perpetrators are merely “works in progress.” We are told to be patient in discipling people — even when they openly reject the teachings of Christ and resist correction. We must still platform them, celebrate them, and applaud the fact that they merely showed up to church. Keep affirming them. Keep holding their hands affectionately. Keep surrounding rebellion with emotional support until sin becomes culture and conviction disappears entirely. And many are proudly flying this flag, standing in defense of people who are not merely struggling with sin, but who have never truly repented in the first place. Repentance is not optional in salvation. It is foundational. A man who refuses repentance while clinging to sin has not experienced the transforming work of grace, no matter how often he attends church services. But no — we must not speak about sin anymore. If evil things happen among us, we should look away. Even victims are expected to stay quiet because “nobody is perfect.” And if someone dares to speak, they are dismissed: “Who has he discipled before?” as though truth suddenly requires popularity before it can be spoken. The church's tone about sin will determine if our Saviour will be perceived as the God who gave His best to save us from the worst or just a bored deity who is wooing humans to His side because he loves the company of great and special humans. Sin must be spoken about with the grave seriousness that it deserves. Until the sinner recognises how dead his trespasses have made him and how urgently he needs the lifeblood of the only Saviour. Until then, altar calls will keep appearing like men doing God a favour by identifying with Him, and evangelical crusades will become just another socio-religious recruitment strategy that polishes depraved humans into better-behaved sinners who are still estranged from the family of God.

All these testimonies are irrelevant and red-errings. New agers also have testimonies of transformation. Occultic sects have them too. The way to judge the accuracy of a Christian praxis isn't to say the end justifies the means. Christ must be in the means and the end. What we're questioning here is the means, and in the case of that lady, her end. Hyper-grace can't match Jehovah's witness in 'evangelism.' But that doesn't make JW legit Christians because they don't believe the essentials of the Faith. Deeper life has more radical transformation than you can ever dream to produce from LOGIC. And they don't teach hyper-grace. So again, this videos adds nothing to the discussion at all. Someone can even get born again listening to a false teacher so all these receipts no hold any water. We aren't doubting the possibility of genuine transformation even in the midst of wrong doctrines. It's the case that such transformations happened (by God) despite the church and not because of the church. In fact posting these videos as response to the biblical objections raised, only shows how that the poster doesn't know where to look when searching for the True Christ and Gospel. If you like raise the dead and end insecurity in Nigeria, we go still compare your methods with scripture and condemn it with strength if it contradicts.

God's salvation army won't be intimidated by the chiefest of sinners. Our Lord is more than able to turn the worst of sinners into the finest of saints. It doesn't matter how depraved a heart has become, the gospel saves and saves to the uttermost. So let's learn to boast in God's conquering love and to expect those who claim to have believed to flaunt the Saviour's victory over sin and hell. Satan's worst attempts to deform mankind will be undone by Christ's redeeming love if we truly present the gospel as God's transforming tool and not another religious lecture.

The ungodly used to avoid church and preaching because such atmospheres convicted them of sin and reminded hearts that there was a consequence for rejecting God's loving grace. But Unbelievers today love the church because it is cool and fashionable. They love gospel music because it is enjoyable and trendy. They love preaching because it is humorous and fun. They love prayer because it serves as a good mask, giving others a favourable impression of them. They also seem to like Jesus, although they don't believe He must be worshipped or obeyed. Some consider these changes as progress in terms of reaching the lost. I respectfully do not think so.

My Last tweet on this.... Check every encounter people had with Jesus in Scripture. No one truly met Him and remained comfortable in the life they were living before. The proud were humbled. The immoral repented. The greedy restored what they stole. The broken were transformed.

Sinners are welcome to church. As long as the church is true to its essence and mission, we should be glad that sinners are drawn to the message of God's love and the gathering of the saints. But if the church is more skilled in loving the world and affirming them than converting sinners and exalting Christ and His cross, I think Satan will be quite happy with the church spending so much to get sinners into our midst only to make them twice as much citizens of Hell.

What the sinner needs from the church is neither an award nor a celebration but transformation. Especially when it isn't just a one off sinner, but a perpetual, brazen one who continues to sin despite having the knowledge of salvation. All the nonsense talk about how Jesus would have treated the adulterous woman or prodigal son doesn't fly. This isn't a sobber adulterous woman or a penitent lost son. This is a brazen unrepentant and immoral lady taking Grace for licentiousness. This is the same retarded false equivalence that compares terrorists to the prodigal son. Una just love sin. GRACE is potent enough as GRACE without demonic suffixes like hyper, mini, micro or macro. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
