I can't figure out why the switch flipped but Chicago is in boom times right now. Home values are skyrocketing (in the nice neighborhoods) and even on weeknights bars and restaurants are humming.
I've lived here since 2009 and I don't think the city's been raring quite like this until now. This comes after taking longer to recover from Covid than basically everywhere else.

@Noahpinion Weird way to look at it, there’s a thousand reasons those are obviously different.
DC/Chicago have the second best public transit, clearly 2. Philly and Boston have a denser urban core due to age, but like dc is a nightmare / money pit to live and drive. Less so Chicago.

the venture capital bloodbath is coming and most vcs have zero idea agents will replace 90% of what associates and principals actually do: • deal sourcing through network analysis • due diligence via automated data mining • portfolio monitoring with real-time metrics • pattern matching across 10,000x more deals what exactly are you getting paid for when an agent can analyze every startup in your sector in 3 minutes? the entire industry is built on information asymmetry that ai just eliminated most funds will become algorithmic within 24 months the only vcs who survive are the ones who can actually build companies, not just write checks and send intros

@pitdesi There is no way to do this specific program solo right now, even if you farm out the script to a referral platform and had outsourced counsel buttoned up.
There’s decades of cases that lead to the same place for this stuff, especially if they touch insurance.

I checked this against my 2025 personal tax return and it was the exact same. I have fairly complicated taxes.
If you have a regular w-2 job this is a no brainer.
By next year this should be handling 90%+ of all tax cases.
