A massive shift among young voters in polling. 2024 Presidential Estimates: 🔴 Ages 18–22: R+2 🔵 Ages 23–29: D+6 2026 Generic Ballot (@YalePolling): 🔵 Ages 18–22: D+23 🔵 Ages 23–29: D+30

@ZacharyDonnini @YalePolling Yes but I think we need to interrogate why young people failed to see the danger in 2024 or did see it but didn't believe it.

@aneja_tarush @sportsrapport I can’t speak for Avondale / wicker park, have never lived there. This guy sounds like he drunkenly picked a fight at 3am, terrible outcome

I can't figure out why the switch flipped but Chicago is in boom times right now. Home values are skyrocketing (in the nice neighborhoods) and even on weeknights bars and restaurants are humming. I've lived here since 2009 and I don't think the city's been raring quite like this until now. This comes after taking longer to recover from Covid than basically everywhere else.

@sportsrapport Love Chicago but the problems are there. You can mask it with gentrification and beautiful housing but innocent people are not truly safe in the best neighborhoods (Avondale Wicker Park Wrigleyville Lincoln Park)

Mark my words. In about a week, Americas are going to wake up in the morning and feel what this chart actually means.

@Noahpinion Weird way to look at it, there’s a thousand reasons those are obviously different. DC/Chicago have the second best public transit, clearly 2. Philly and Boston have a denser urban core due to age, but like dc is a nightmare / money pit to live and drive. Less so Chicago.

@BrenRitsuno @paulg @shaunmmaguire Inflation was caused by supply shock between Trump and Biden (mostly neither of their faults) + excess demand (Biden), then more recently tariffs and oil (Trump). Internationally he’s ceded leading consensus world order, domestically he’s gutted investment / manufacturing revival

@paulg @shaunmmaguire Specifically in what ways? Makes no sense if just telling people Trump harming Americans. Inflation has been caused by minimum wage law, corruptions and frauds, handing money to hostile nations, giving away US works to other nations, etc…

@dvasishtha Having spent a small amount of time on the VC side before jumping into founding / operating, I would take (marginally) worse terms for VCs w/ operating experience, all else equal. Feel like it’s like parenting — can read all the books but nothing prepares you like experience

@protomemetic @avidseries I don’t know you, if you’re real or your mom, but I still don’t believe this. Iran, Ice and tariffs catch way too many headlines even for the dogmatic following,

@pitdesi There is no way to do this specific program solo right now, even if you farm out the script to a referral platform and had outsourced counsel buttoned up. There’s decades of cases that lead to the same place for this stuff, especially if they touch insurance.

cool- but I don’t understand it. There are 100s of GLP factories that prescribe GLP’s after a few Q’s Medvi’s flow is particularly bad. I assume margins would have been competed away Hims did $2.35B of revenue with 2k employees. This 2 person co in the space is doing $1.8B?
Sar Haribhakti@sarthakgh

.@eringriffith: "His start-up, Medvi, a telehealth provider of GLP-1 weight-loss drugs, got 300 customers in its first month. In its second month, it gained 1,000 more. In 2025, Medvi’s first full year in business, the company generated $401 million in sales. Mr. Gallagher then hired his only employee, his younger brother, Elliot. This year, they are on track to do $1.8 billion in sales." nytimes.com/2026/04/02/tec…

This Sweet 16 game in Chicago is gonna end at like 1 a.m. Imagine traveling to see your team play and being kicked out of the United Center in the middle of the night to basically fend for your life in the middle of a war zone. Looking like a tourist in your college colors lmao

Insane statistic: The top 10% of drinkers drink 75% of the alcohol in America - and average 73.8 drinks per week. That’s a 10+ drink per day average. Alcoholics single handedly keep the booze industry alive in this country.

One of the highest leverage things founders could do right now is to pause their company (except essential activities) and take a weeklong all staff retreat to just adopt and experiment with building agents
