True but in fairness, Apple has significantly less market share than Microsoft Windows. It also has less device compatibility considerations. That said Apple is also vastly superior operating system in terms of features, usability, energy efficiency, and resource utilization partly because Apple isn’t afraid to make big changes and focused on user experience more than backwards compatibility.
