@xRay_Reaper I doubt it. SE didn’t really have an IP to replace it, and everything the veteran devs are doing tells me they intend to leave it in the hands of younger devs.
It will probably evolve (for good or for bad), but it won’t die instantly. Fans are my main concern

@pxl_pshr Seriously tho, he's got the whole suite of "cheat codes" at his fingertips, and can probably skip a lot of world map traversal as well. Let's not act like he's playing through the game like a normal player would be doing.

Let's do a little thought experiment.
If dev mode lets him speedrun the game in ~10 hours, and he works 2000 hours per year (US standard, JP likely ⬆️⬆️), then he's spending AT MOST one day per week playing the game over a year's time.
This is conservative, it's probably less ✌️
