@JuniperFolly my thing is…. all of those things can happen to you just be existing in real life. None of those consequences are limited to only bad interactions on twitter. Not in a “so why bother way” but more like, im not going to be fearful of what strangers might do online

i can’t even stress how bad of an idea it is to face reveal. this isn’t a friends and family app like instagram or facebook. blocking functions don’t work. online stalking is rampant. doxxing is commonplace. it’s unsafe unless you’re a public facing figure like a journalist.

the people that traveled before the news of the outbreak are not a societal behavior problem, a lot of people are thinkings those that disembarked knew, they didnt.

@GeorgeServed @GhostofGladysK Depends on the type of mask. If you’re wearing a well fitted respirator like an N95, that will protect you even if others aren’t masking.

Every suspected hantavirus case took a commercial flight to get home.
They were in crowded airports and on airplanes.
They weren’t isolated. They weren’t instructed to mask.
No precautions were taken.
This is why everyone should wear an N95 when flying.

My son's driver's ed teacher forever changed my view of yellow lights. When you see a yellow, the question shouldn't be "can I make it through?" You don't know, because you don't know how long it is. The question should be "can I safely stop in time?"

This still pisses me off so, so badly, lol. Just because I’m able to walk doesn’t mean I don’t need the mobility aids as much as that kid. As a SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT.

Story time! I am disabled. I have multiple sclerosis. I use the disabled stall when my balance is off because it has handles. When I was 7 months pregnant, with a toddler, I used MY stall and a teacher on a field trip pushing a kid in a wheelchair went OFF on me.
