@FrankBr05713205 An old 1970s Warshowsky's Auto Parts catalog had an oil filter adapter to screw on to where your oil filter goes. It was made to use an ordinary roll of toilet paper for the filter. I never knew anybody that tried it.

Why does less cost more? Here is another example of where we are getting less and paying more money for it. For years our vehicles oil filter was a metal canister with the paper filter and valves inside of it. Many cars today use a cartridge filter and the filter replacement is just the paper insides and an O-ring, but yet the cost of this is twice as much and sometimes more than the original metal one. So why does just the paper insides minus the metal canister and the valves cost us more? Something is wrong here as far as I’m concerned.

I just got back from camping. While we were there, shortly after midnight, we heard sirens, looked out and saw an ambulance and fire truck going two rows over from us. Seems a camper tried to start his campfire with gasoline. He got burned and so did his camper I found out he survived, but his camper did not. Why do people do such stupid things?

Most were turned away or sent back after vetting for reasons among the following: -They were too sickly or had diseases -They arrived too poor to sustain themselves, and the fear was that they would be put on public subsidy. -They arrived as single mothers with children and no man to take care of them -They were too elderly or disabled to contribute to national production or productivity -They practiced family norms at odds with the American tradition (prostitution, polygamy) -They were contract laborers that would suppress agreed-upon wages in the American system -They did not come from a foreign nation that was under the approved quota umbrella -they were determined to have been imported for “immoral purposes” (sex, work, homosexuality, etc.) The standards were set on culture and ethnicity, not Creedal assent. The whole poem thing on the Statue of Liberty about the refuse of the Earth is completely fake left-wing propaganda. Nevertheless, even here, the people coming in were from Europe and had nothing to do with the Indians, Arabs, and Third World invaders that we are presently working to send back to their own homes.

@FrankBr05713205 @EmilySm43 There's only two schools in our county, and I can imagine it takes awhile to pick up and drop off all those kids. There's an early 1900s, before the school bus, map of our township with "one room schoolhouses" all over the place. Two within a couple miles of our house.
