An upset in Round 1! 😲 Ryan Hunter-Reay and the No. 31 crew bounce No. 1 seed Alex Palou out of the Oscar Mayer Pit Stop Competition.

Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.

The weirdest thing about this boomer finance and housing discourse is that IRL, the older people I talk to, grandparents, people in church, etc. understand what I’m talking about and agree. Asset prices have ballooned, wages haven’t kept up, it’s only here on X that boomers grandstand about canned chicken and “affordable” single family homes.

absolutely think it would be great if NASCAR fans supported the @bundleofjoyfund it’s a charity created by Samantha and kyle busch and provides monetary grants for in-need couples struggling with infertility and the costs associated with IVF treatment.

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old. We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

@ky_statesman They probably legally ballot harvested at nursing homes and retirement communities. All they need is one employee in the building who regularly handles the mail to be able to legally pull it off. “Do you support president Trump? Sign here!”

I've lived in KY-04 my entire life and closely follow the election results here. There is no way that the turnout legitimately doubled. This was election fraud carried out by the highest levels of our state & federal governments.

@pyQu3st @abooker17 that's because f1 and wec are similar but do things differently enough from roger penske's Indy car series and imsa that you can make some significant distinctions.

MLS is poor at attracting American soccer fans who wake up every Saturday morning at 7am to watch hours of European football, and that’s an audience they need to capture in this country. The last thing they should do is make the sport unrecognizable to the rest of the world.
Pablo Iglesias Maurer@MLSist

NEW: MLS has had preliminary discussions with IFAB about potentially trialing the use of a stopped clock during matches, a potentially fundamental, massive change to the laws of the game. I have more on the Guardian, w/@MattHughesMedia: theguardian.com/football/2026/…

THE NUMBERS DON’T WHISPER. THEY SCREAM. Massie gained votes. Turnout doubled. His opponent vote didn’t grow. It exploded. 2024 opponent vote: 12,664 2026 opponent vote: 57,822 That’s a 356.6% surge. Total turnout jumped from 52,593 to 105,361. Maybe it’s real. Maybe it’s clean. Maybe every ballot checks out. Then prove it. An audit is not fear. An audit is verification. If voters are expected to accept the result then officials should welcome the review. Call the Kentucky Secretary of State. Call county election boards in KY-04. Demand a full audit of the Republican primary vote. Ballot count. Chain of custody. Machine logs. Absentee totals. Precinct-level turnout. Trust is earned in daylight. Open the books. #ElectionAudit #KentuckyPolitics

Agreed. Bootcamps are an interesting case study. They pumped out tons of “graduates” and flooded the entry-level market. Beyond salaries, this hurt employment prospects for computer science graduates. For the most part, if a CS major does not intern, they will not be hired—then and now. At the same time, bootcamps had no problem advertising West Coast FAANG salaries that practically no graduate would achieve. Those jobs were gatekept by complex algorithms and data structures live coding exercises in interviews. Some bootcamps were purely digital, some were local institutions, and others involved a brand partnering with actual universities. The university one is even more interesting as it was not a B.S. or B.A., just a certificate from a coding bootcamp that had paid to use the university campus and logo. People took out loans to attend such things. Big tech, journalists, universities, and private capital all joined together to milk profits from people’s dreams right into the launch of AI coding assistants and vibe coding like leading sheep to the slaughter.

At some point there has to be an accounting, some kind of comeuppance, for Learn to Code. It's like we told an entire generation to go to barber school and then 5 years later introduced the HaircutBot9000.

Meta will layoff 8000 of its workforce starting tomorrow morning. Their net income over the last 12 months was $70,587,000,000. They could give every single one of their 79,000 workers a $440,000 bonus and still sock away over $35,827,000,000 in pure profit.
