An earthquake just started up at Hubbard Glacier, the site of the M7.0 EQ on December 6th. A massive swarm of earthquake followed that original M7.0, and now activity has resumed with 46+ events, the strongest being a M5.7. This area geologically can get M9.0+ earthquakes.

How big is AR 4294? Here is a comparison between: #1 - AR 4294 right now, #2 - AR 4274 as it rotated into view on Nov 2nd, just before beginning the big X-class flare barrage and #3 - AR 3664 on May 12th, 2024 as it approached the W limb. I suppose AR 3664 and its flare history needs no extra introduction. AR 4294 is … pretty big.
