53.4% is a GREAT record. You can make a good living with that as a win rate That's 2% ROI on all money invested; even if you are laying a full -110. At 55%, if betting well, you are going to become a millionaire if you bet a high volume, and it won't take that long

I am tired of Handicappers quoting "Variance" over and over for bad performance. Guys go 5-18, 0-8, claim to be great experts and say "VARIANCE". Guess What?? 55% cappers almost NEVER go 0-8. PERIOD. They go 3-8, they don't go 0-8. .45^8 power is .168 percent chance to happen (meaning it should happen once every 10 years if you give out weekly picks). That means it simply should not happen in a tiny sample. 55% Football teams don't start the season 0-8 vs. average competition.
