@aberdeenuni What Heather Herbert said was sickening. We can’t tolerate this level of debasement and depravity in public life. Ann Widdecombe is another devastating statistic of violence against women. Do your job and sack Herbert

The Times headline correction: Farage rented his own work space for £10,000 a year…as many businesses do, which is legal and common place He claims ZERO in expenses as a politician, unlike most of the rest, some of whom have claimed nearly £250,000
Love the UK - Bring back common sense@UKwantsmore

£10k a year is below market rate and the Times yet again think this is news - framing the headline as £50k to deliberately mislead readers as they will likely only read the headline. The Times know loads of MPs do this, yet as always, it’s Nigel and Reform they target! @thetimes this is getting beyond a joke. You crossed the line in you bias a long time ago, but this is now relentless harassment! @MWSCorp - You are loosing complete credibility. What are you playing at! Sort your far left rag out!

MPs have encouraged hatred towards Reform members. They do it every week in PMQS with glee. RIP Ann Parliament should be ashamed of the way members interact with each other it's a bad example to the nation

@SkyNews .. A complaint ! @adamboultonTABB ‘s report on the death of Ann Widdicombe today .. has to be one of the most crass, disrespectful reports I’ve heard on anyone in politics .. The fact this is also a Police investigation makes it even worse. To repeat personal stories about her; and using phraseology such as an ‘ old maid’ and more .. She was a very clever, intellectual, conviction politician who had more decency in her than most people I’ve ever met. She was kind and thoughtful and would never hold a grudge with anyone when differing views were held .. This is an outrageous slur on her character and reputation.. and I hope you’re damn well sacked !!

Ann Widdecombe has possibly been murdered, and @SkyNews thinks it’s appropriate to have a man discussing whether she was a virgin. Why would whether a woman had ever had penetrative sex be relevant to her possible murder? He then went on to speculate, on mainstream media, that it was a robbery gone wrong rather than politically motivated. That may ultimately prove to be the case, but speculation about motive before the facts are established has no place in responsible news coverage. The first instinct when discussing a woman who may have been murdered should never be to reduce her to her sexual history. Ann Widdecombe deserved better. Every woman deserves better.

This is Heather Herbert, the face of the “Hatful Left”. A rising start for both Labour and the Scottish Greens, the poster “girl” for Hope not Hate. Heather tweeted about the murder of Ann Widdecombe, “ I hope her death was extremely painful” This is the real face of the Labour Party and the Green Party. A vote for them is a vote for Heather. Pure evil! #AnnWiddecombe #Reform #Labour

I don’t understand reactions like Peter Tatchell’s to the death of Ann Widdecombe. His words won’t hurt or wound her, she’s beyond that now. But his words will hurt her family and friends. Why do that to bereaved people?
