A Tribute to Lieutenant FA Isaac Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, Today, we gather with heavy hearts yet with profound gratitude to honour the memory of a true patriot, Lieutenant FA Isaac—a courageous officer who paid the supreme price during the rescue attempt of the abducted Oyo school children. There are moments in history when the courage of a single individual becomes a beacon of hope for an entire nation. Lieutenant FA Isaac stood in such a moment. When innocent lives were threatened, he did not hesitate. He answered the call of duty with unwavering resolve, placing the safety of others above his own. In doing so, he embodied the highest ideals of military service: courage, selflessness, honour, and sacrifice. The greatest measure of a soldier is not found in words but in actions. Lieutenant Isaac chose the difficult path—the path where duty outweighed comfort, where service outweighed personal safety, and where love for country outweighed fear. His sacrifice reminds us that the peace we enjoy and the freedom we cherish often come at an immeasurable cost borne by brave men and women in uniform. While families rejoiced over the rescue of innocent children, another family was plunged into unimaginable grief. Behind every fallen hero is a mother who lost a son, a father who lost a child, siblings who lost a brother, friends who lost a companion, and comrades who lost a trusted colleague. As a nation, we share in their sorrow and stand with them in gratitude for the priceless gift Lieutenant Isaac gave to Nigeria. To his family, no words can truly heal the pain of your loss. Yet, may you find comfort in knowing that his life was not lived in vain. He died protecting the vulnerable, defending the helpless, and fulfilling the sacred oath he swore to uphold. His name will forever be associated with courage, honour, and unwavering devotion to duty. To his fellow soldiers, let his life inspire continued resilience. Let his sacrifice strengthen your resolve to defend our nation with professionalism and integrity. Though he has fallen, his spirit marches with every soldier who wears the uniform in service to Nigeria. To every Nigerian, let us remember that our heroes deserve more than our applause; they deserve our respect, our prayers, our support for their families, and our commitment to building the peaceful and united nation for which they sacrificed so much. Lieutenant FA Isaac may no longer walk among us, but heroes never truly die. They live on in the values they upheld, the lives they saved, and the nation they served with unwavering loyalty. We are not doing that for now, this account is basically created to appreciate the sacrifices of our gallant security agencies facing danger for us to live. We are also soliciting for peace building and reconciliation for national unity for a progressive Nigeria that will be free from violent extremism and insecurity. However, we'll soon start a campaign and sensitisation programme for Nigerians to always support and not criticise our armed forces. But if there will be need for crowdfunding in the future, we will communicate it here.
