Already know what people are gonna say - he can’t score goals so get rid. Imagine looking at his qualities and using goals as a metric to judge him. Hes not even been given the opportunity to play as a striker (consistently) There’s a lot of strikers who aren’t clinical that can score goals - Zirkzee was just used as a 10 behind hojlund last year.

If you can't understand what you're watching with Kobbie Mainoo, that's a you problem. Composed, playing a slightly different, more defensive & disciplined role. His best out of possession display. Fourteen defensive actions; 2 tackles, 2 clearances, 2 interceptions, 8 ball recoveries, 5/8 duels won. Work rate, build up as the connector of play. He's still gaining confidence & adding more strings to his bow too. He has had such a disrupted time & this was another great display in a string of them in 2026. Critics won't go away, neither will the quality of his performances.
