Crows enacting justice is one of the things going right on this time-block trajectory.
Laoisy Thongs@Laoisy_Thongs

@quantumsylph @aileedubaron @omgsidewalks Good idea! Crows are very clever so it may be possible to garner the favour of one to exact revenge. Especially when crows are very social and tight knit; you mess with one, you mess with them all, you'd have a whole army of them in no time painting cars with their 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

@aimeeterese It’s just part of the human condition to have interpersonal conflict where scarcity or violence are looming.

@aimeeterese Also, I think it is common for people to have traits of a disorder without being fully afflicted by it chronically. Many people act in narcissistic or emotionally intense or validation needy ways.

This is absolute bullshit. BPD, like narcissistic personality disorder and other cluster b personality disorders, is a response to traumatic attachment to a primary caregiver in early childhood. The child’s adaptive response to attachment trauma disrupts ordinary personality development and so they remain emotionally infantile in numerous ways. Because their coping mechanisms protect them from (perceived) harm, they simultaneously protect their personality from the growth and maturity that ordinarily comes with childhood/adolescent emotional development. This is why they do not change. They are incapable of gaining maturity or wisdom with experience, because they’re about as self aware and self reflective as a toddler. This means they lack the insight to learn from their mistakes (they don’t admit to making any). They’re effectively violent emotional infants in adults bodies. They do not change. This is not something that an adult who went through proper emotional development as a child, can develop in adulthood after the fact.

@aimeeterese This is an absolutist take. While you’re correct about the cause of bpd, the key difference between NPD and BPD is that bpd people are self-aware to a fault, full of shame and guilt, which can be self-perpetuated in a way. People with narcissism have no empathy or shame.

@omgsidewalks I used to work at a library that had 2 beautiful trees next to the driveway. The state cut them down because the neighbor next door complained about leaves falling into her yard. The library and the trees were there before her house was built. 😡

@omgsidewalks I had a huge one of these in my front lawn forever. One day I woke up to find out my brother who lives across the street chopped it down because it's flowers kept falling on his cars parked in my driveway. 🫩

SERIOUS QUESTION: Does anyone else get sad and confused when trees get chopped down in residential areas that literally aren’t even bothering anyone ??

Something I’ve learned in 30+ years - boomers LOVE cutting down trees. They hate yard work, which is why they are so obsessive of their lawns, and they believe that trees are stronger than them so they can’t be allowed to live. And I’m completely serious. Ask any male boomer scumbag what they think about trees and you’ll be edified.

Untold millions of people in the 21st Century are walking around with psychotrauma that, in premodern times, would have been vanishingly rare outside of war. The circumstances are simply so bizarre and chaotic that extreme damage can be stumbled into by accident now.

In Feng Shui, your family of origin is your 'ancestral estate.' If your parents didn't pave the way or teach you survival skills, it’s like they gave you an 'energy-leaking' or 'barren' plot. In such soil, sprouting late and growing slowly is basic physics. Now they stand in the mud and judge you for not growing as fast as those in 'fertile estates.' In Feng Shui, this is called 'Yin energy suffocating Yang' (a toxic field stunting a good seed). The solution is simple: 'Move out.' Since the ancestral Feng Shui doesn't nourish you, mentally and physically 'sever the tie.' Don't demand a harvest from barren land; go out, find your own dragon vein, and build an 'energy-gathering layout' that actually works for you.

Having parents who didn't prepare you for literally anything in life, judging you for being "behind" as an adult is definitely a canon event for a lot of neurodivergent people.
