Summary of the incident during the past 12 hours A professional hacker group tried to infiltrate several user accounts. Based on the information we have checked so far they are either located in Vietnam or are masking their location to appear from Vietnam. Their initial goal was to quietly steal ITLG from a number of accounts and later attempt a large scale attack on the network using a fifty one percent takeover method. However the InterLink Network is protected by tightly connected Human Nodes. If any abnormal activity happens the entire system is alerted immediately. When the attack was detected the compromised Human Nodes were isolated at once and the network protected itself collectively. This prevented any chance of system wide damage. Ironically this incident is actually a very positive sign. It served as a real world security test for the system and as we can see there was no loss of ITLG and no issue with any assets on ITLX wallets. This proves that our technology and security design are working at a high level. It also shows something interesting. If a group is willing to spend time money and resources to attack us that means they see value and potential in ITLG even at this early stage. In a way such an attack is like an early investment because no one wastes effort on something they do not believe will grow. The hacking attempt completely failed and instead clearly demonstrated the strength of our defenses. For a network our size attacks from competitors or external forces only make us stronger more united and more confident in both our community and our technology. This event did not weaken InterLink. It confirmed our strength. Congratulations to our entire Linker community.
