Plus, every moment @moonbirds has had, from taking IP, to stickers, to failing the Diamond Exhibition. The Project potential vs. Delivered gap is obscene.

Oh boy! A 🧵 (or I guess long post now) I joined the @moonbirds & @proof_xyz Community Council to make things better for the community, be a voice for many and find mutually beneficial solutions for both parties. Seems like after today, there's a lot more work to do than what I expected... If you're out of the loop. The Diamond Nest rewards got dropped today to Day 1 nesters. Even though the team had good intentions, things didn't go as planned. What has me worried Is that both collectors AND artists are quite unhappy. For me this Is a huge Issue because a few months ago @kevinrose & @JustinMezzell announced that Proof/MBs were all In on the art. Mbs were going to be the "art collectors pfp." I know we are still In the heat of the moment but many members, collectors & artists are not happy with how things turned out. These are the two biggest stakeholders that are the key to the success to an art oriented club. What the main vision relies upon! Unfortunately the team has even more work to do to turn things around. They need to regain the trust of the community but also gain the trust of artists that would want to collab with them in the future. I think the focus needs to be on delivering value directly aligned with those key stakeholders mentioned above. It will take time but It's doable. Still here to try to Improve things, please share all the feedback here or In private If you feel more comfortable. I'll make sure It is consolidated and address In a way where the team Is listening so that actions can be taken. I'm a community member first, I wish this drop would've gone differently, but here to work with everyone to make It right. To artists, Proof/MB members: DMs open To fudders/keyboard warriors: I don't need your shit today, I'm already having a difficult day for other reasons and just trying to make things better. Don't need any more negativity. 👊

@moonbirds The chat on art roll, not considering multiple of the same piece. How does it explain how I got 3 pieces all in sequence? Randomisation was clearly poor in general. The re-roll, doesn't cut it. This was the BIG Moonbirds moment. Too many examples where the ball has been dropped

I wanted to share how incredible @proof_xyz and @kevinrose have been to me and my family. Kevin has provided relentless support to me in my artistic journey and through Proof I have been able to: Launch my art career (2 of them) Pay for my daughters college Pay for my children's livelihoods Create opportunity to create a life. Provide a platform to share my work Access to collectors Emotional support Kevin and Proof have never waivered in their support - despite immense pressure and unrelenting market conditions. I did sell my proof pass earlier this year - I needed the funds - and I was so grateful that Kevin had created something that gave me the ability to provide for my family when I needed it. Creating financial opportunity for others is an incredible power - and its one Kevin has done over and over again. I still hold a Moonbird and will hold it forever. I know so many others on Proof have worked thousands of hours - @JustinMezzell looking at you - and of course the incredible @akastevey_ and @divergencearran @divergenceharri and @MeltingIce and everyone on the proof team @eli_schein - I apologize for not listing everyone - but I see all of you.
