More than 40,000 New Yorkers and 350,000 people nationwide are now at risk of deportation because this far-right Supreme Court is abandoning the law and basic decency. TPS holders belong here. Congress must pass the Dream and Promise Act and create a pathway to citizenship.

Every immigration scheme is designed to be permanent.
Once proponents of mass immigration can put sad faces and stories to their 'temporary' programs, they then weaponize the "cruelty" of ending these programs and guilt the American people into giving away their nation.

There’s a reason it’s called TEMPORARY Protected Status. It was never meant to be a pathway to permanent immigration. It’s also not true that the majority of Haitians have lived here for more than 15 years. Many arrived during the Biden administration amid increased migration at the southern border, where some left safe countries and established lives after word circulated on social media that work permits were being granted to anyone who made it across the U.S. southern border.

Yesterday, we wrapped up the week with @LeaderJohnThune visiting with the men and women at the ICE facility in Rapid City, South Dakota. Day in and day out, these individuals track down illegal alien criminals, narco traffickers, sexual predators, and remove them from our streets. Ending Temporary Protected Status for Haitians is cruel and reckless.
This decision will tear families apart and deal a blow to South Florida’s economy. It will strip our nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and home health agencies of thousands of dedicated caregivers who look after our parents, grandparents, and loved ones every day.
Our Haitian friends and neighbors work hard, pay taxes and care for our families.
And now, many will be forced back to a country consumed by gang violence, political instability, hunger, and a humanitarian crisis—putting their lives at risk.
Where is the humanity?
